Takysie Lake offers great fishing for wild Rainbow Trout—no stocking here! The trout population is naturally sustained, with many fish reaching over 2 pounds. Angler pressure is typically low to moderate, so it’s not unusual to have plenty of quiet shoreline or water to yourself.  Whether you’re casting a fly or trolling with spinning gear, flatfish, or small spoons, anglers of all skill levels have a great shot at landing a catch.
