Restaurant and Store

You will really have everything you need once you are here.  In the event you have forgotten anything, we more than likely have it in our store.  We stock bread, milk and eggs to laundry soap, diapers and aspirin.  Pop, chips and candy to canned goods, pasta and pet food are on the shelves along with camping needs, smoking chips, batteries, film and food wrap just to name a few things.  Want some ice cream, pizza or juice?  Did you forget the bacon or the hot dogs?  Yep – we have that too.  We also have a great selection of gifts cards, souvenirs, and liquor, wine, beer and tobacco products.   We sell long distance and cell phone cards as well.  To top off the evening, perhaps you would like to buy some fireworks and put on a show of your own!  

We also have gas, diesel and propane for your convenience.  We sell fishing and hunting licenses as well as bait and tackle ~~ the advice is free…

Café on Takysie

Our café offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items to satisfy every appetite.  For breakfast you might have the traditional bacon and eggs or try a skillet scramble to satisfy the larger appetite.  We also have muffins, rolls and bagels to choose from among other entrees.  Lunch and dinner items range from burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads to veal cutlets and steak and prawns.  David and Rise’ have a couple of favorites to suggest such as the grilled ham and cheese on rye or the beef dip – made with our freshly roasted beef.  These are just a few items from our six page menu, which also includes a kid-sized page.  All of our soups are made right here as are our pies, cheesecakes and specialty desserts.  Come in hungry and leave room for dessert!
