Accommodation

Our motel consists of fully contained suites, each with separate bedroom, living area, full bath, fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, and separate entrances with large foyers.  

We have 10 cabins, all distinctly different in design and capacity, but all are either lakeside or have a spectacular view.  All cabins have cooking facilities, basic equipped kitchens, refrigerators, picnic tables, fire pits and cold running water.  All cabins require that you bring your own bedding.  The cabins have some or all of the following:  Separate bedrooms, living area, kitchens, electricity and cold running water, propane cook stoves, woodstoves, large screened in porch or open deck and private picnic areas.

Campground and other facilities  

We have 45 camp and RV sites with power and water with a wide variety of sites to suit your needs.  If you would like some privacy and isolation, we have a site for you…perhaps you are camping with a group of family or friends – we can accommodate you as well. 

If you have large RV that requires 30 Amp service or a tent that needs some soft grass – we have just the spot.  

On the grounds we have for your convenience a Sani-Dump station, guest docks, boat launch, moorage and aircraft docking. 

There are flush toilets, metered showers and firewood.  There are also fish cleaning stations and smokehouses for you to clean and preserve your catch. 


Please ask for assistance with the smokehouse if required.  

If you need a boat, we have several to rent whether it be man-powered (canoes and pedalboats) or motor powered.  Just let us know which suits you and we will make sure you have everything you need to have a safe and pleasurable adventure on the water.  

We also have a large party raft that comes with chairs, picnic table and porta-potty so that you can tour Takysie all day long.  Take out your lunch or bring along a little BBQ and cook your catch!
